Reflection: King Hezekiah was not a perfect man, but the Bible gives a powerful testimony about his heart and his leadership. Across three chapters (2 Chronicles 29–31), Scripture repeatedly emphasizes how Hezekiah lived: he did what was good, right, and faithful before the Lord his God. What a beautiful legacy!

From the moment he became king at age 25, Hezekiah prioritized restoring worship in the temple, removing idols, calling the people back to God, and reinstating the observance of Passover. He wasn't driven by power, politics, or popularity—he was focused on doing what pleased God. His methods were clear: he sought God wholeheartedly, obeyed His commandments, and gave his best to God’s work. And the result? Scripture says, “He prospered in everything he did.”

Hezekiah understood a life-changing truth: true blessing—both spiritual and material—comes from living with integrity before God. He didn’t just seek outward success; he sought the Lord Himself. That is the key to a life filled with peace, joy, and purpose.

This principle didn’t just apply to Hezekiah. It’s the same wisdom King David passed down to Solomon, and it’s the same truth God offers to us today. If we want to live a life that pleases God and bears fruit, we must do what is good, right, and faithful in His eyes. Not to earn His love—but as a response to it.

Lord, help me to love You deeply and give generously to Your work. Teach me to serve You with integrity like the Levites did—wholeheartedly, faithfully, and without compromise. May my life be a reflection of upright stewardship and joyful giving, for Your glory. Amen.
